Description:Located only a few minutes outside Bloomington, IN, Crimson Stables, LLC. helps introduce children and adults to the world of horses. Boasting one of the largest indoor riding arenas in Indiana, we are searching for an exceptional, detail-orientated Assistant Manager/Riding Instructor, who has a thumb for being organized and a self-starter. Job Description and Duties The ideal candidate(s) have experience in the English riding style with at least 5 years general riding experience. Additionally, the candidates will have past or present club and/or association involvement as well as past instruction experience. Horseback riding instructors at Crimson Stables, LLC can anticipate working with clients of all ages, but especially children. This candidate should be able to work well within a team environment. They will work with barn management software and point of sales software regularly. The candidate should have a firm understanding of every aspect of the equine industry and strong communication skills. Responsibilities • Assist the general manager in the day-to-day functions of a year-round equine lesson and boarding facility • Provide riding instruction 5+ hours a day, 5 days a week • Basic skills to school lesson horses when needed • Work with individuals or groups in English riding lessons • Work with children in the Saddle Club and Summer Camp programs • Communicate any questions or concerns to the appropriate manager in a timely fashion Position Requirements • Professional experience with horses including up to 5 years of English riding and instructing experience • Certification or club affiliation is a plus! • High School Diploma or equivalent • Weekends and some holidays are required • Detailed oriented, self-starter, solid leader and professionalism are musts
