| Description: | My name is Lauren, I am a 2nd year student at university of Guelph, I have 7 years experience working with thoroughbreds at various lay up, broodmare and yearling barns as well as working yearling sales. I have ridden horses for 13 years and owned and taken care of my own horses for upwards of 10 years. I compete at rodeos in barrel racing and roping events so I would need at least one weekend day off a week. I currently work at a reputable broodmare barn, but am looking for something a little more challenging. I have helped foal out horses, I can complete daily routines effectively and efficiently, I am hardworking and highly motivated to further my skills and knowledge within the horse industry. I don't have much track experience but I learn quickly and would make someone a reliable honest groom. I am willing to learn to gallop horses on a farm setting, and I can help start yearlings.
