Biosecurity & Risk Management of Horse Farms SeminarApril, 2008

Learn how to protect your horse by managing health and reducing risks on your farm. Topics to be covered include; biosecurity and risk management, role of vaccines and an update on Equine Herpes Virus (EHV) concerns. A question/answer session is planned with Dr. Dan Kenney, Ontario Veterinary College. Those attending this seminar will be given the tools to have a positive impact on the health of their horses by implementing risk management on their farms. This seminar is proudly co-sponsored by Equine Guelph and the OVC Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

From the East & South (including Toronto):
Take 401 Westbound to exit #299. Take Northbound Hwy 46 (Brock Road) into Guelph. Brock Road becomes Gordon Street. The campus becomes visible at the intersection of Gordon Street & Stone Road. Proceeding through this intersection, visitors should turn left onto McGilvray Street. Lifelearn Centre is located directly on the right.

From the West (including Detroit, Windsor, London):
Take Hwy 401 Eastbound to exit #295. Take Hwy 6, Northbound to Stone Road and turn right. The campus becomes visible at the intersection of Gordon Street & Stone Road. Turn left onto Gordon Street. Visitors should turn left onto McGilvray Street. Lifelearn Centre is located directly on the right.

From the North:
Take Highway 6 Southbound to Guelph. Highway 6 turns into Woolwich Street when it crosses Woodlawn Road at the north end of the city. Continuing south on Woolwich, the street will briefly change names from Norfolk and then into Gordon Street. Continue to drive south on Gordon Street, through the Gordon Street and College Street intersection and turn right McGilvray Street. Lifelearn Centre is located directly on the right.
