Volunteer Application

What is EquiMania!?

EquiMania is Equine Guelph’s educational outreach program, designed to teach youth and the public about horse health, safety, and welfare in a fun, interactive way. The program features hands-on displays that cover topics like horse health, welfare, and safety.

Role of the Volunteer

Volunteers help in various ways, depending on the event or project. Common areas that we are looking for help in include:

  • Creating and maintaining displays. Individuals with skills related to art, design, carpentry, or other building skills may be interested in this.
  • Loading and unloading displays for travel to and from events.
  • Display setup and teardown at event grounds.
  • Staffing the exhibit. This can include interacting with visitors and supervising kids’ activities.
  • Promoting Equine Guelph resources and programs. This may be the only role at events where we are not able to bring interactive activities.
