Equine Guelph Gala Fundraiser Opening Night at the Inaugural Outdoor Equine ExpoMay 2010

Canada’s Outdoor Equine Expo will be held at the Arkell Research Station, part of the University of Guelph’s vast network of research facilities across Ontario. This premier equine experience will target elite professionals all the way to young riders with gates opening on June 4 to 7th for everyone to access experts in this all breeds and all discipline extravaganza. Admission on Friday June 4th is free with doors opening at 2pm.

Over four days, attendees can browse indoor and outdoor exhibits and learn from interactive clinics hosted by professionals shipping in from as far afield as Alberta. University of Guelph will have a major presence with researcher’s discussing the latest news in horse health and performance. Young horse lovers will enjoy Equine Guelph’s, ever popular, EquiMania! interactive, educational display.

grey horse image“The University of Guelph is a leader in equine programs, both research and education,” says Gayle Ecker, director of Equine Guelph, the equine outreach arm of the University of Guelph. “This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate how the latest equine research can benefit the horse owner – from the trainer of the fastest racehorse horse to the newest Pony Club member.”

The Equine Guelph Gala begins at 5pm on Friday June 4th. The evening will bring a unique opportunity to rub shoulders with guest speakers and others in the equine industry while supporting the work of Equine Guelph. Treat yourself to this social evening featuring entertainment, wine and appetizers.

Participants will enjoy a fundraising auction, promising something for every horse lover with proceeds supporting continued program development at Equine Guelph.

Donations for the silent and live auctions are still being accepted. Don’t miss this opportunity for your business and products to have concrete visibility in front of legions of potential new customers from multiple horse disciplines. Your donations will receive online exposure, as they’ll be listed on both the Equine Guelph website and Equine Expo website. A release, including a listing of donors, will be sent out by Equine Guelph after the event to equine media and associations.
