Brooklin Was a Blast - Horse Day Erin Next for EquiMania!June 2019

EquiMania! had a wonderful time at the Brooklin Spring Fair over this past weekend, May 30 - June 2. The attraction from Equine Guelph thrilled many horse lovers both young and old.
There were several activities for youth promoting proper care and safety with horses and a take-home activity booklet providing more resources through TheHorsePortal. “So many children keen to learn more about horses and their proper care!” said EquiMania! team member Dr. Sarah Tiller.
There was great interest in the variety of online courses Equine Guelph has to offer such as: equine welfare, genetics, nutrition, anatomy. The Brooklin Spring Fair was a great opportunity to talk with different people in the equine industry by sharing stories and ideas.
Equine Guelph thanks all the generous sponsors and volunteers that make EquiMania! possible. Thank you ESSO, Greenhawk, Kubota Canada, Ontario Equestrian, Shur-Gain, SSG Gloves, Standardbred Canada, System Fencing and Workplace Safety and Prevention Services.
Equine Guelph director, Gayle Ecker says “A huge thank you to the Brooklin Agricultural Society for inviting EquiMania! to be a part of their wonderful fair yet again! We hope to see all the EquiManiacs again next year.”

Horse Day Erin will have something for everyone! There will be riding demos and clinics, educational displays and presentations. Come learn how to provide the best care for your equine friends.
Visit the Equine Guelph interactive display to see everything on offer! Discover how a horse is put together, and the care involved to keep them in tip-top shape, as well as signs that you may need to change your routine. Learn about all the educational health care tools and online courses designed specifically for youth, adults, and racing industry professionals.
Need another reason to come to Horse Day Erin? For the horses of course! Horses of all different breeds and disciplines, and you may even get to see a unicorn!
